As you converge towards graduation under the current unusual circumstances, you might be facing numerous uncertainties about employment and start dates. Surveys have shown that the mean salaries of civil and environmental engineers is over 15 and 20% greater with a master’s degree, respectively (Source: https://www.utdallas.edu/career/docs/about/NACESalary2019.pdf), so this might be a good time to consider long-term career advancement opportunities via graduate education.
