High Performance Computing Laboratory (CCEE-HPCL)

The CCEE HPCL is maintained by the Computing and Systems group. HPCL currently has four Opteron clusters totaling nearly 1000 cores as well as several high end workstations. The clusters are:

  • Neer (656 cores)
  • Bezier (284 cores)
  • Ingenia (192 cores)
  • Cygnus (88 cores)
  • Neptune (44 cores)

The clusters are used for specific research projects, as well as in courses, such as:

CE 537 – Computer Methods and Applications (F)
CE 737 – Computer-Aided Engineering Systems (S)
CE 791 – Advanced Topics in Civil Engineering Computing
CE 791A – High performance computer modeling (F)
