Brief Bio:
I am a Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering & Mechanics at NCSU. I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Civil Engineering. My current research focuses on simulating damage and degradation in concrete structures and developing an AI-based framework to detect the severity and locations of various degradations. This work will help to detect concrete degradations at early stages in critical structures such as nuclear power plants to avoid costly repairs or major disasters.
