  • Brief Bio:
I am a PhD student in Civil Engineering at NCSU with a specialization in structural dynamics. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from NCSU in May 2017 where I graduated with valedictorian honors. I work with Dr. Abhinav Gupta on structural dynamic research projects concerning the seismic qualification of non-structural equipment such as electrical cabinets and piping. In 2017 and 2018, I led two research projects in partnership with CNEFS and ABB for the analytical seismic qualification of three GIS switchyard designs. Through our partnership with Idaho National Lab, my current research concerns version control between building information modeling (BIM) and finite element analysis models for piping systems in nuclear power plants.
