Brief Bio:
I am a postdoctoral research scholar in the department of civil, construction, and environmental engineering. I received a Ph. D. degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University. I earned my MS and BS in Nuclear Engineering from Hanyang University in South Korea. My Ph.D. research was focused on developing a machine learning-based digital twin diagnosis model to be used in autonomous management and control systems for advanced nuclear reactors. My master’s thesis was developing the emergency preparedness plan based on a Level 3 PRA analysis. In addition to my research for my thesis, I have experience in analyzing the advanced safety system operation by using a Bayesian Network and reasoning-based approach with Prolog.
